how to rent

Fill in the form to register as one of our members. Once verified by our team, follow the instructions in the email sent to you and you’ll be able to start renting your favourite bag!

Click ‘SHOP’ and browse through our collection of designer bags.

Once you’ve chosen your bag, select your rental duration and the price will reflect the amount to rent that bag for the duration.

Our current minimum rental duration is 3 days and maximum is 2 weeks.

Click our calendar view to check on the availability of the bags. Choose your desired dates to rent and the pick-up time.

Our pick-up time is from 12pm – 8pm daily. If your pick-up time is not within this range OR if you need to change your pick-up time, please email us at info@thesocialbags.com. (We might be able to accommodate to your time request but subject to our availability & discretion.)

Once satisfied, click ‘Add to Cart’ to proceed to checkout.

BY CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD
Fill in the required details and once payment successful, a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox shortly.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
An additional security deposit (refundable) of up to RM3,000 (amount is stated in each product page) will be charged upon the pick-up of the bag at our office.

Your bag will be packed in our signature box and ready at the pick-up time you’ve selected.

Our drop-off time is from 12pm – 8pm daily. Please state your preferred time to drop-off the bag by replying to our reminder email that you will receive a day before the end of your rental date.

Your bag rental automatically ends at 8pm on the return date, therefore kindly ensure the bag is returned at the store before 8pm to avoid any late penalty charges.
